The Prophecy

I sat before my mother, her dark brown fur rustling in the wind. "Evil will be unleashed, a dark force will rise, and there will be no mercy." Her eyes grew dark. "Be strong, Flash. Never back down, never surrender." Then she slowly faded into the moonlight. "Wait!" I called, but there was nothing but silence.

"Lauren, Lauren!!" I heard a voice calling to me. "Would you get up?!" It was my older brother Riley. "Shut up." I muttered, turning away from him. "Whatever, if you're late it's not my problem." He said, walking out of my room.

Soon I was out the door and on my way to school
